Paula, not for signature premade blends at this time, but I do for personal consults to create blends that are unique for their wellness goals. If that helps. I gather a ton of information on that client and I charge for that time with them as well and the time to research their blend.

If you want to start your business, I recommend you shadow or invest in a company you love to get a feel for what you like about their products and services. Visit websites you love and keep notes on what you love about their sites and what you want from your social media and web-based marketing. Keep a journal on it all, people who journal and make lists have a higher success rate in seeing their goals go through than those who don't. I love Leonie Dawnsons self guided business journals for that inspiration. Connect with your community and ALWAYS be a good patron to businesses around you. Make friends and connections. That is all great work you can do now. :)

My current aroma website is being built on shopify. I think you can also set that up yourself if you do not have a webplanner.

Social Media Examiner is a great podcast to check out

FREEEEEEEEE!!! Start there, you will be surprised on what you can learn on your own, then ask for professional advice later. I hired people to do that, and they never quite did it as good as me.

Use CANVA to make your posts, invest in that instead if you like making posts!

I own a social media marketing company and website design company in addition to my functional medicine practice and I live by Social Media Examiner to keep up with the ever changing algorithms.

AIA -Alliance of International Aromatherapists It is a wonderful way to meet people and beef up your resume. I also love to do yoga conferences and participate in those types of things to grow my businesses. They keep me educated and it is a great way to cross market and learn new skills

I also use Canva to design all my content. I also invested in purchasing templates to use in Canva from Biz Template Babe. These templates have been a HUGE time saver! I am not a graphic designer so finding all the correct sizes, etc. is annoying but that is all on the templates. It is literally just dropping in my images and my content. They all look professional and don’t take up all my time to create!

Marie! You have to value your time, their time and your demographics. Think per hour, what are you worth for labor. I think $50 after I pay taxes is always a good goal for me, top of the line services are $120 for 90 minutes plus the cost of product in some cases. Ask yourself can I upsell on that session, so maybe the cost is lower per labor because you can make more on products later. Good question, take you time thinking about it. Also think about research, travel time if you have to travel, overhead costs, and phone time... think of the value of what you are putting in and what the average market value is in your area too.. I usually tell my yoga students to charge $45 per hour to start out here, as they are still young in their knowledge, and work your way up to $75 an hour...

Marie, to price services, look for comparable services in your area and then look at the qualifications of those practitioners. Know your worth and don’t undervalue you and your experience. Pricing seems to always be a thought part of the business but there are so many things to consider.
